- Biography
I study American electoral politics, focusing on race, voter turnout, and vote choice. Broadly, I study Black political mobilization and Black vote choice in congressional primaries. I utilize both quantitative and qualitative methodological approaches in my research. My research tends towards causal analysis with randomized experimental methods, and I use large-N statistical analysis, focus group interviews, and case studies. I also have experience teaching at the undergraduate level. I taught courses on American Politics, African American Politics, and Voting and Elections in the US.
