Giving

The Georgia State University Foundation offers two funds that support the mission of the Political Science Department. Your gifts allow us to achieve excellence in undergraduate and graduate student education, maintain a vibrant students activities program, and/or continue conducting nationally-recognized research. Gifts of any size are most welcome and gratefully received!

The Political Science Student Support Fund is dedicated to supporting undergraduate and graduate students in their pursuit of academic excellence both in and outside the classroom. Possible uses of this fund include undergraduate scholarships, support for our academic teams (Mock Trial, Model U.N., etc.), and graduate student awards and travel grants. The only limit on this fund is that all proceeds must be spent to directly financially support GSU students in their pursuit of academic excellence. A dedicated committee of full-time faculty members determines how funds are spent each year, and the current long-term goal is to raise at least $25,000 so the fund can become endowed.

The Political Science Department Fund provides the department with the resources needed to retain and recruit the brightest students and faculty, invest in new and innovative research, and provide bridge-funding to help those with the greatest need.
