The Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics published a new study co-authored by Dr. Judd Thornton, Associate Professor of Political Science at GSU. The study discusses the effects of race of survey interviewer on the answers of the respondents on political issues; it finds that white interviewers subjectively rate black respondents’ knowledge lower than do black interviewers.
The study is coauthored with Adam Enders, an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Louisville.
