The Board of Regents has approved the appointment of Dr. Sarah Gershon to the Ray and John Uttenhove WomenLead Professorship. The criteria for selection of this endowed professorship included high-quality scholarship, excellence in leadership, and an ability to inspire students to learn. WomenLead was established in 2015 by the Robinson College of Business as a university-wide program.
Dr. Sarah Allen Gershon is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University. She received her Ph.D. from Arizona State University in 2008. Her research focuses primarily on the incorporation of traditionally underrepresented groups (including women, and racial and ethnic minorities) into the American political system.
